In the ‘Dro!” San Leandro kicked off the first public meting and WOW! The Zocola Coffee Shop was packed with over 60 people rocking to the voices of Occupella singing about getting on the BERNIE Sanders Train. Groups were formed. “How to begin outreach and collect volunteers” was the focus of Carol’s team. Improving our social media presence was conducted by our web designer Luis. Maureen and John updated us on national campaign efforts and began planning to help N. Nevadans as we prepare to help in their Feb primary . We are tabling on Wed at the Farmers Market and hopefully will initiate a Sat market at BART in Castro Valley soon! Next meeting is 7 PM Wed Sept 22 at the Puerto Bello Mexican restaurant at 14280 Washington St. Help us spread the word and like us on FB!
